At NEYA, sustainability is approached as an ongoing responsibility and continuous process of improvement. As a design-focused brand, we believe thoughtful design should extend beyond aesthetics and include consideration for how products are sourced, produced, packaged, and delivered.
From the earliest stages of development, we have aimed to make conscious and intentional decisions - including small-batch production, material selection, recyclable packaging, prototyping methods, and shipping practices. We understand that building a more environmentally mindful brand requires ongoing learning, adaptation, and long-term commitment.
We place a strong emphasis on working with manufacturing and production partners that align with responsible and ethical business practices. As the brand continues to grow, we remain committed to building relationships with companies that value fair working conditions, thoughtful production methods, quality craftsmanship, and responsible sourcing. We believe that creating meaningful products should also involve making conscious decisions about the people and processes behind them.
NEYA is committed to producing in small, intentional batches to reduce overproduction and encourage more thoughtful consumption. Production quantities are intentionally kept limited to support a slower, more considered approach to consumption and craftsmanship. We prioritize durable materials, recyclable packaging, and long-lasting design over trend-driven cycles.
Our jewelry is crafted using high-quality recycled sterling silver and is available in rhodium-plated sterling silver as well as 18K gold vermeil over sterling silver. The vermeil plating exceeds standard industry thickness requirements, increasing durability and extending the lifespan of the piece to encourage long-term wear rather than disposable consumption.
Our packaging is also designed with sustainability in mind. Rather than relying on excessive plastic or disposable luxury packaging, NEYA developed a fully recyclable paper-based packaging system inspired by architectural model-making and topographic study models. The jewelry box sits within a laser-cut layered insert made from recyclable cardboard materials, creating an elevated unboxing experience while minimizing unnecessary waste. The packaging itself is intended to feel collectible and reusable rather than temporary, encouraging customers to retain and reuse the materials over time.
